Here are a few things we have noticed about Blake over the past 6 weeks...

Family Tree

Blake is fortunate enough to have already had visits from four of his great-grandparents! This is special because both sets of Brent's grandparents live in northern Indiana, 14 and 16 hours away by car. They are all clearly very proud of their first great-grandson!

One Month Old!

Wow! We can't believe that our little boy is already one month old!

This has been a month filled with many lessons learned and lots of joy. We are so thankful that God has lent us Blake and we can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

Mommy's birthday party yesterday. Blake isn't in the mood for cake.

One month old today.

We are going to use the giraffe as a point of reference as Blake grows.

Day out with Mommy!

After three weeks off, Brent had to go back to work on Monday so that means that mommy and Blake are spending quality one on one time together during the days. Well today we finally had some beautiful weather so we made a trip out. First Blake was dressed in his "Mommy Adores Me" onesie before heading out to Maw Maw's house for a short visit. We then met up with some friends at Chick-fil-A (mommy's favorite) for lunch. After lunch, Blake got to attend his first playgroup at cousin Erin and Anna's house along with some other close friends. Blake seemed to be enjoying every minute of it. He actually slept through the whole thing in aunt Jen's arms but I know there will be many more playgroups to come. What is scary is that in no time I know he will be running around with the other kids.
