Happy 30th Birthday Brent!

18 Months

I can't believe Blake turned 18 months this past Monday. Time sure is flying by now. Today, we went to the doctors for his well visit and they said he is looking great. He only had to get his flu shot and doesn't have to go back until he is 2. Hopefully, that schedule rings true and we stay healthy this winter :) Here are his stats!

Height: 33inches (50-75%)
Weight: 25lbs (50%-he's finally caught up)
Head: 49 1/2 (75%)

Adjusting

I know it has been awhile since my last blog post. Brent is now back at school in full swing which means Blake and I are trying to get back into our routine. Being a stay at home mom is amazing but it is tougher than I expected. I did not consider the adjustment I would have to make each season as Blake gets older and is interested in new things. Currently I am adjusting to Blake's PASSION for the outdoors. Yes, I do mean to use the strong word of passion. This little boy loves being outside. He doesn't care if it is the park, the backyard, getting the mail, walking into the store, he just loves being outside. He will stand at the door and cry if we have not gone outside for the day. No question about it, he gets this from his daddy. Not that I don't enjoy being outside but I don't seem to need it like my boys do :) Needless to say, we have been very busy visiting parks and staying busy busy busy. The only time Blake slows down is to nap. With Blake's craziness and the stress of throwing Brent's surprise party (which was a huge success, pics to come soon) I realized I haven't taken many pictures so I took some from our adventures today.
