B.Y.O.D. Shower

Today Brent's fellow teachers threw him a surprise B.Y.O.D (bring your own diapers) baby shower. I was informed of the shower earlier this week so I made plans to sneak to the school for the lunch time shower. Brent, however, was completly shocked by the shower. We had a great time and were very blessed by his co-workers. They overwhelmed us with their generosity of diapers and wipes. After getting home, we tallied the number to 1252 diapers.

WOW thats a lot of diapers! The teachers want to start a pool on the date we will run out of them. I liked one teacher's idea that since the shower was technically thrown for Brent, he should have to be the one responsible for changing all those diapers :) We are so thankful that Brent works with some amazing people!

Millie Being Cute

We thought this was pretty cute. Over the past several months, Millie has taken to cuddling up with Mommy and Blake on the couch. She seems to understand something is different and looks to be embracing the change. Let's see how much she likes it when he is crying at 2:00 am! The three pictures are taken at the beginning of December, January, and February, respectively.

Blake's Nursery

Well, we are about three weeks until Blake's due date and it looks as though we might be just about ready. Well, his room is going to be ready, anyway! Brent had been planning a special project for his jungle-themed room and he put the finishing touches on it this afternoon. The monkey and giraffe were inspired by the print on Blake's blanket.

Our First Post!

Well, we decided to get into the act. With all of the changes that are planned for our little family in the next month or so, we figured it would be wise to get this up and running so our extended family and friends can enjoy the journey with us. This should be fun!
