Today Brent's fellow teachers threw him a surprise B.Y.O.D (bring your own diapers) baby shower. I was informed of the shower earlier this week so I made plans to sneak to the school for the lunch time shower. Brent, however, was completly shocked by the shower. We had a great time and were very blessed by his co-workers. They overwhelmed us with their generosity of diapers and wipes. After getting home, we tallied the number to 1252 diapers. 
WOW thats a lot of diapers! The teachers want to start a pool on the date we will run out of them. I liked one teacher's idea that since the shower was technically thrown for Brent, he should have to be the one responsible for changing all those diapers :) We are so thankful that Brent works with some amazing people!

WOW - That's a lot of diapers - at least enough for 2 weeks! Love the Big Bird bag too, you'll have to regift that for Erin's b-day! Aunt Jen will be happy to change Blake's little diapers - although I'm not seasoned in changing little boys!
Hopefully they bought all different sizes - I mean newborns use a lot of diapers, but I'm not sure it's quite that many! ; ) They must think a lot of Brent, and of you too! What a blessing!

you can never have enough diapers, and like Heather said I hope they came in many different sizes! what a blessing to have such a wonderful shower!
