Allison 18 months

Last Thursday on June 21st, Allison turned 18 months old. I cannot believe how fast our little girl is growing up. She weighs 25lbs and is 32 inches long. She is a great eater, good sleeper and quite the chatterbox these days. She will repeat anything and can say mama, mommy, daddy, blake, ball, doggy, cookie, please, thank you, uh oh, juice, milk and just the other day she even repeated "I love you." I melted into a puddle. We are so thankful for her sweet spirit and her spunk. She loves to cuddle with us one minute and make us laugh the next. She brings us so much joy as we watch her plow through life :-)

Trip to Roanoke

2 weeks ago I had the opportunity to travel with the kids and Mimi to Roanoke to visit Aunt Lori, Uncle Dusty, Rachel and Gavin. Unfortunately Brent was still working so he wasn't able to come with us. We went up on Thurs. night and stayed through Sunday. It was such a fun time getting to see Gavin again and let the kids play together. The played outside with the swing set, in the baby pool, had tea parties and literally chased each other around. Here are a few pics of our visit!

T-ball

Blake played his first t-ball game today. He had a blast and did a great job batting, fielding and following the coach's directions. The only thing we need to work on is explaining why we don't really keep score at this age :-)

 Staying focused for the game
 First up to bat!

Blake's End of Preschool Performance

Here is Blake singing in his first school performance! He did such a great job and we are so proud of how well he did in preschool this year. We were blessed with an amazing teacher who cared so much for all the students. She really enjoyed Blake and said he was such a kind, smart boy who played well with everyone. Even though Blake keeps us on our toes, we are so thankful for his kindness and know God has big plans for him!

(sorry for the poor quality...I can't get the hi def video to load)
