Blake's first time in the pool!

Super Millie!
Another event that signals summer for the Nieters is plum season. We are very fortunate to have two large plum trees in our backyard. Well, the plums begin to ripen near the end of May beginning of June. The problem is by mid June they are all ready to be picked. A couple years ago I began the tradition of making plum jam. It is a pretty simple process but very time consuming when trying to pit hundreds of plums. Oh well, the reward of having fresh jam from your own backyard is worth it! I have to thank Brent and his parents for helping me through the process this year.

And as you know, Erin thinks it's the best jelly she's ever tasted! The girl knows a good homemade jam when she tastes one. As for Blake - he's looking mighty cute in his swimsuit, watch out ladies!
Wow! You are lucky to have such gorgeous and fruitful plum trees!! I'm impressed at your homemade jam endeavors!
Our computer is finally fixed and saw the latest pictures. He sure is a beautiful baby! Those plums sure do look good. (hint, hint)
Love you & have a happy 4th!
