This is a picture when Blake was sick. He was leaning on Millie for comfort and to keep him from falling. It is so cute to see these two becoming closer friends. Blake can now throw a ball for Millie and he loves crawling over top of her. Millie lovingly, well reluctantly, just lays there still and sneaks a lick in when she can.
On March 16, Blake went for his 1 year checkup. His weight is 20lbs even (10%), he is 30 1/4 " tall (50-75%) and his head measures 47 1/2" (75%). Doctor said he is right on track developmentally.
Blake also had been working hard this past week on walking. He took his first couple of steps on Sat. 3/21. He would rather crawl because he can get there a lot faster but hopefully he will catch on soon to the walking. Blake is also nonstop talking these days. OK, well it is just a lot of babbling but he sure knows what he is saying. It is the cutest thing when he holds up a toy and just starts telling me all about it. It has got to be frustrating to him that Mommy just isn't getting it :) Blake's current words are Mama, Dada, ball, dog, bottle and juice.It has been so refreshing these past two days to have Blake, Mommy and Daddy healthy. Sometimes we take for granted when we are feeling good but nothing like a sickness to remind us to be thankful for God given health. We are so excited about the weather warming up and summer around the corner. It is sure to be filled with lots of adventures :)

Glad everyone is feeling better! Somehow it's made its way to Roanoke. Love the picture of Blake leaning against Millie... so sweet!
So glad to hear you're all feeling better. As you say, we're so thankful for the health God gives us and so much we take for granted!Excited to know Blake's taking a couple of steps.
