First Haircut by Mommy
On Friday night, Blake got his first haircut by me. I started cutting Brent's hair shortly after we got married in order to save us a little extra money and I have gotten pretty good at it. So a couple months ago I trimmed up the back of Blake's hair which went well but we couldn't figure out how to keep him still. Well, Christmas time brought us the movie "Elmo in Grouchland" and now Blake will sit still for the entire movie :) Perfect opportunity! I think the haircut was a huge success and I am sure there will be many more. Brent gives me a hard time since I am cautious when cutting but I will always stand by my motto "you can always take a little more off but you can never put any back on" :)

Looks good :) I wish I had the courage to cut my kids' or husband's hair. Too much money spent on haircuts around here!

I didn't keep track of how much $ we saved by my cutting our three boys' hair - but it was a bundle.
I have been doing my own for several years - of course, for those who know me, there isn't much there to cut anymore.
the job on Blake looks very "pro".
Good job, Kim, and it doesn't look like Blake even knew he got it cut. He's such a handsome boy! Hope his foot is doing better!
