We Are Home!

Kim and Blake were released from the hospital Monday afternoon. Both are doing well. Kim is getting along much better the last couple of days and we were even able to get out for a short walk this afternoon. Blake has slept all day, which stands to reason because he was awake all night. Who knew we had a nocturnal baby? I know everyone with a newborn has gone through this, so we are in good company. Let us know if you have any tips on surviving the next few weeks while we get his schedule in order! Finally leaving the hospital

Too cute for his own good

First car ride!

Poppy Nieter did a great job with the sign!

Mawmaw and Bobble are so proud of #6!

Chillin' on the couch

OOOOHHHHHH...I need some more lovin' on him. He is too cute for his own good. Love the sign - what a treat to have such a talented Poppy! You guys are doing great! Most babies have their days and nights mixed up for a couple of days, but it gets better. Just make his mommy sleep when he sleeps - she needs it the most!

Hi to you three! He is soooooh cute & wish we were there to personally give him a BIG hug. The days & nights are just part of parenthood, but it gets better. We've been through it. Just rest when he rests, Kim!
Love you,
Nana & Grandpa D.

so, so, so, cute! i bet you guys are just SO excited! it's so great to get home and he'll work himself out soon! i know everyone says it, but sleep Kim when he sleeps! even though you think you can get stuff done and you may feel lazy, just put that out of your mind. you need your rest to be the best mommy to little Blake. the other stuff to do can wait! a well rested mommy is a happy mommy! :) the sleep deprivation will really mess with your head so take it easy and REST! and enjoy yourself...they grow up so fast! :) congrats!
