2 Months Old

It is hard to believe but Blake turned two months old yesterday! In some ways it feels like he has been with us forever and in other ways he seems to be growing up too fast. We went to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. He now weighs 12 lbs 5 oz which puts him in the 50% for weight. He is 24" long which is the 75% and his head is 40 1"2 which is in between 50%-75%. Basically the doctor says that he looks great and his measurements are proportional :) Blake did have to get four immunization shots today, 2 in each leg, so that was not fun for him or Mommy. Right now he is thankfully sleeping it off. 2 Months and Growing

Brent and I are so thankful for Blake. In the past week, Blake has really started showing us his fun personality. He now gives out smiles freely and is such a joy to watch as he discovers new things. This week he has begun to discover his hands. If there is no passy, the hands go straight to the mouth. I thought it would be fun to try some hand rattles but as you can see, Blake wasn't too sure about them. He has also really started to coo and respond to us. He is such a joy and I am excited at all the new things to come!
