A fun weekend with Aunt Lori and Uncle Dusty

Blake took his first long trip in the car this weekend up to Roanoke to visit Aunt Lori and Uncle Dusty. We all had a great time and made some very fun memories!

Almost 5 hours in the car didn't seem to phase Blake at all!

We got to go see Dusty's marching band play on Friday night. Blake loved it!

Brent and Lori had this crazy idea to compete in the Marine Mud Run 5k on Saturday. The last 100 yards or so was through a gigantic mud pit.

Can anyone spot the clothes that will be going in the trash?

Now that's a picture only a mother could love!

Zoe and Blake got along great! He thought she was hilarious!

We can't wait to see you again!

It sure looks like everyone enjoyed themselves. We sure loved all the pictures, especially the ones of Millie & Blake also the mud pictures. That's so funny! I hope they were able to shower off before riding back in the car! :-)
Love you,

Happiness is seeing your son and daughter and their families doing things together.

Oh my word - what a mess. It looks like Blake had a really fun time with his cousin Zoe and his aunt and uncle! Glad you're back.

We had a great time with you. So glad you could come! Zoe misses Blake already, she keeps sniffing where all of his things were. I had a great time at the run with you too.
Love you!

I'm just glad I don't do the laundry for either of you any more! And yes, I still love the muddy faces, especially when they are smiling!
