Updates

So I know it has been a long time since I updated the blog and I apologize to those who still faithfully check it. Life is so busy with two little ones running around and it seems everytime I sit at the computer someone starts screaming. Everything is going well here. Spring is always very busy for us with Blake's birthday in March and then mine in April. We are on the home stretch until summer. Blake finishes preschool at the end of this month and Brent will finish up in June. Allison is growing up so fast. She is such a fun little girl who loves getting into everything and talking up a storm. She is starting to repeat words we say which is fun. Well, I think that about covers it for us! Here are some highlight pics from March and April. Hopefully I can get back into the routine of updating this!

Meeting Baby Gavin

Last week we were so excited that Aunt Lori, Uncle Dusty, Cousin Rachel and baby Gavin came to visit. This was our first time meeting Gavin. He was born on 2/11/12 and is such a little cutie. Here are the pictures of us lovin' on him :-)

Winter?

I guess winter decided to take a year off here in VA because we have been having some beautiful spring-like weather here the past week or so. Last week I took the kids to the park for a picnic lunch and we ended staying out for 2+ hours. I am not complaining one bit and neither are the kids :-)

Allison's Birthday

Here are the pictures from Allison's 1st birthday. She had such a great day and loved all her presents. She knew exactly what to do with the presents and the cake :-) I think you will be able to tell from the pictures how happy she was. Thank you all for the sweet gifts and thinking of us. We missed our IN family and wish you could have been here with us to celebrate. We love you all!

1 year old

Allison had her first birthday yesterday. It is so hard to believe how fast this past year went. Alli is such an amazing, funny, easy going, rough and tumble girl. She runs everywhere now and loves to smile, play with toys and eat anything. She brings so much joy into our family. I will post pics of her party later.

Tis the season

We are in full blown Christmas season here in the Nieter household. We have been very busy decorating, shopping and attending fun activities all while still preparing for Allison's first birthday which is one week from today. Whew! Here are a few photos from our festivities!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. This is the second year when we have been blessed to have Thanksgiving lunch with my mom & dad, my sister and her family and her in-laws, Brent's parents and his sister and her family. We definitely have so much to be thankful for!
